I’m a Creative Filmmaker and Video Editor, Immersive Media (VR/AR) Creator, and Climate Justice Enthusiast.

An Introverted lover of stories who has been playing with cameras and computers from a very young age.

The MTF Academy

An education programme that develops emerging TV and film talent in Africa, through an accredited 12-month immersion programme including both theory and hands-on experience in cinematography, editing, audio production and storytelling.

This year-long funded programme is offered through accredited regional MTF Academies based in Kenya (for East Africa), Nigeria (for West Africa) and Zambia (for Southern Africa) in partnership with respected local academic institutions.

Justice Defenders Brand Doc

OFFLINE EDITOR

I worked freelance as a producer and offline editor on this brand documentary FOR JUSTICE DEFENDERS; A movement of defenders working to provide legal education, training, and practice within defenseless communities.

This DOCUMENTARY follows the experiences of incarcerated people in various prisons in Kenya. AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS FROM INDIVIDUALS WHO MAKE UP THE JUSTICE SYSTEM AND WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITHIN IT.

DGB Group is a leading carbon project developer and ecosystem restoration company that helps

businesses and governments be carbon neutral through reforestation projects.

I worked remotely as a Video Editor and occassionally traveled WITH OUR CINEMATOGRAPHER Around different parts of Kenya where reforestation projects happen to help capture footage of the impact on the community.

THAO: 1000 SHILLINGS IN NAIROBI (2022)

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

A cinematic 360 experience depicting a day-in-the life of a boda boda rider in Nairobi trying to find 1000 shillings($10) in Nairobi.

As the audience we have been assigned on a debt surveillance program to follow Mawati

Throughout the day, we see him encounter different customers, some bad, some good and the different hurdles a boda rider may face on any given day.

I volunteer at Stima Boda, a startup that aims at ​unlocking electric mobility in Kenya through ​electric boda bodas.

I contribute mainly as a media consultant and ​producer. I have also done the same with ​Untapped and Mvuapap, a former solar irrigation ​company that was based in Kenya.
